Dr. Bruce Fawcett

Dr. Fawcett serves as the 8th President and Vice Chancellor and Professor of Leadership and Religious Studies at Crandall University in Moncton, New Brunswick. A native of Moncton, Bruce is a graduate of Crandall University (B.A.), Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (M.Div.), Harvard University (Th.M.), and holds a Ph.D. from the University of Wales where he studied under noted empirical theologian Leslie J. Francis.

Bruce has served as a youth pastor, a denominational staff person, and a professor at Crandall and Acadia University, where he was Associate Professor of Leadership, Director of Doctoral Studies, and Academic Dean at the Divinity College.

He is the author or editor of nine books and has written many articles published in a variety of academic journals and other publications.

Bruce serves on a variety of denominational and community boards and is the current Board Chair of Christian Higher Education Canada.
