Multifaith Housing Initiative

MHI is a federally incorporated charitable organization that was established in 2002. Our mission is to provide affordable housing to lower income households in Ottawa, to encourage harmonious relations amongst tenants of diverse backgrounds, and to mobilize the resources of faith communities and others for these purposes.
