Canadian Jewish Experience, A Tribute to Canada 150

The CJE will be a yearlong exhibit and lectures based primarily in Ottawa organized by Jewish Canadians to pay tribute to our country and to celebrate Jewish contributions to the development of Canada as part of Canada's 150th birthday celebrations in 2017.  The CJE will be located at 30 Metcalfe Street, two blocks from the Peace Tower in the heart of events marking the 150th anniversary. The Metcalfe location will feature an exhibit of nine panels, each representing a theme in the story of what Jewish Canadians contributed to the growth of our country. A series of lectures on these themes will take place in nearby locations. A second set of CJE panels will be traveling across Canada.
